Mobi Fever Track Thermometer - Setup Guide

This article has been created to assist you with setup and answer the most common troubleshooting questions for your Mobi Fever Track Thermometer. 

 

How to change from °F to °C

To change the measurement reading on this device, simply press and hold the 'MEM/SET' button for 2 seconds. This change in measurement between °F and °C will be displayed onscreen. Repeat the steps to switch back. 

How to change the temperature reading mode (Forehead, Ear, and Room)

To change between the different modes on this device, simply press the mode button on the left-hand side of the device. You will see the image at the top of the screen change. There are three modes to choose from: forehead, ear, and object/surface (baby bottle symbol). Once the desired symbol is visible on the screen, press the scan button to take a measurement. 

Forehead measurement: Set to 'forehead' mode.  Ensure the probe cover is in place. Place the probe in the center of the forehead equal distance between the eyebrow and hairlines. Press 'SCAN' to record a measurement, the thermometer will 'beep' when the temperature is recorded.

Ear measurement: Set to 'Ear' mode. Ensure the probe cover is removed. Insert the thermometer probe slightly inside the ear canal and then press the 'SCAN' button. The thermometer will 'beep' when the temperature is recorded.

Surface/object measurement: Set to 'object' mode. Remove the probe cover. Hold the thermometer approximately 1 cm (1/2 inch) away from the object surface, press the scan button while aiming the probe towards the object. The thermometer will 'beep' when the temperature is recorded. 

How to view the memory

To view the memory on the Fever Track, from the home screen press the 'Set/MEM' button. The thermometer will 'beep' three times in quick succession and will display the save file number then the recording information. You will see 'Memory No.' appear to the left middle of the screen displaying '1' for the most recent recording. Press the 'set' button again to continue to cycle through the previous recordings saved in the memory.

 

How to set health check reminders

Press the buttons 'MEM/SET' and 'MODE' together for 2 seconds to enter the countdown. Use the 'MODE' button to toggle between 15 minutes, 30 minutes,  45 minutes, or OFF. Press the 'MEM/SET' button when the desired time is on-screen to start counting down. When the countdown is active and running in the background the “clock” sign will flash on the screen. To view remaining time on the fever track, press 'MEM/SET', and 'MODE' button together for 2 seconds, fever track time will appear on the screen. Press the ' SCAN' button to return to the waiting mode or press the 'MEM/SET' button to cancel the countdown. When the countdown reaches zero the 'health check' symbol will display on the screen and the thermometer will 'beep' simultaneously as a reminder. Press any button to stop the reminder and return to the home screen.
