Mobi DualScan Health Check - Setup Guide

 

This article has been created to assist you with setup and answer the most common troubleshooting questions for your Mobi DualScan Health Check Thermometer.

 

How to change from F° to C°

To change the measurement reading on this device, simply remove the battery compartment cover. Above the battery area, you will see a black button marked c/f. Press this to change the measurement and replace the cover. 

How to change the temperature reading mode (Forehead, Ear, and Room)

Forehead Temperature
1. Press the “SCAN” button to turn the unit on.
2. Make sure the probe cover is attached.
3. Gently place the thermometer probe in the middle of the forehead.
4. Press and hold the “SCAN” button for 1 second then release.
5. The temperature reading will be displayed on the screen.

Ear Temperature
1. Press the “SCAN” button to turn the unit on.
2. Remove probe cover before taking ear temperature.
3. The 'EAR' icon will be displayed on-screen automatically.
4. Place the thermometer probe just inside the ear.
5. Press and hold the “SCAN” button for 1 second and release.
6. The temperature will be displayed on the screen.

Object Temperature
1. Press the “SCAN” button to turn the unit on.
2. Select the 'HOUSE' icon for object temperature.
3. Hold the thermometer probe 1-2 inches away from the object.
4. Press and release the “House” button after 1 second.
5. The temperature reading will be displayed on the screen.

How to view the memory

To view the memory on the Health Check, press and release the 'MEM' button. Each additional press of this button will bring up the previously recorded measurement. This device can store up to 19 previous recordings.

How to set a health check reminder

Press the 'clock symbol' button (left button below the screen). The 1st press will activate the function, 2nd press will set the timer for 30 minutes, 3rd press, 40 minutes, forth press, 60 minutes, and 5th press will switch it off. After selecting the correct time for a health check, it will automatically begin the countdown. When the time is up the thermometer will begin to 'beep' indicating it is time to check the temperature again. 

How to activate the flashlight

To activate the flashlight, press and hold the 'MEM/LIGHT' button (below the display to the right) for 2 seconds. The flashlight will activate and will turn off automatically after 30 seconds if not being used.
