While it is possible to use, we do not recommend this method of connection for the MobiCam's primary internet source.
If the hotspot phone can provide a 2.4ghz connection, and a second phone can connect to the MobiCam through the provided Mobi App, then the MobiCam can potentially connect. MOBI highly recommends that the MobiCam be used with a singular viewing device such as a smart phone, with a consistent connection to a separate device providing the internet signal such as a home router.
Different phones configure the details of their hotspot signal differently, and we cannot guarantee nor provide support for the function of said hotspots. Please contact the manufacturer of phone for details concerning your hotspot service.
