This is a WiFi issue. As stated before, ensure you are connected to the correct WiFi frequency. If you are connected to a combined 2G and 5G lines, the device will likely not connect. MobiCam and MOBI Smart devices need a signal that is only 2.4ghz to function.
Alternatively, this could be caused by a slow WiFi speed. The recommended WiFi download speed is minimum 20 Mbps (megabytes per second). The recommended upload speed is estimated no less than 7 - 10 Mbps. If you have multiple MobiCams, you may need higher speeds. Not sure what the speed of your connection is? Give it a quick test!
Here is how to test your WiFi speeds:
- Stand next to the location of your MobiCam
- Make sure your mobile device is connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi
- Open Google.com and search “speed test”
- Select “Run Speed Test”
