How to Set the Time and Date

Setting the time and date on your Mobi DualScan Prime Thermometer helps you accurately track your measurements over time. Here’s how to do it:

1. Turn on the device by pressing the 'SET' button.

2. Press and hold the 'SET' button until it beeps.

3. The screen will display '12HR' or '24HR' flashing. This allows you to choose between regular or military time. Press the 'MEM' button to select your preferred option, then press 'SET' to save.

4. The hours will now flash. Use the 'MEM' button to select the correct hour, or press and hold it to scroll through faster. Press 'SET' to save.

5. The minutes will flash next. Repeat the same steps to select the correct minutes and press 'SET' to save.

6. Continue to set the date by repeating the above steps for the day and month.

7. The last setting is Sleep Mode. Choose ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’, then press 'SET' to save and close the menu.

How to Turn on Sleep Mode

The Mobi DualScan Prime features an energy-saving Sleep Mode:

• Follow the steps above to activate Sleep Mode.

• When Sleep Mode is ON, the device will automatically turn off after 1 minute of inactivity.

• When Sleep Mode is OFF, the device will remain on until you manually turn it off.

How to Switch Between °F and °C

To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius readings:

1. Press the 'MEM' button once to enter memory mode.

2. Press and hold the 'SET' button to switch between °F and °C.

How to Change Temperature Measurement Mode

The Mobi DualScan Prime allows you to measure temperature in several modes: Ear, Forehead, Object, and Food temperature.

• Ear Temperature Measurement: Remove the probe cover and gently insert the ear probe inside the ear. Press the 'EAR' button to start the measurement.

• Forehead Temperature Measurement: Make sure the probe cover is on. Place the tip of the probe in the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows and hairline. Press the 'HEAD' button to begin measuring.

• Food Temperature Measurement: To measure food temperature, press both the 'HEAD' and 'EAR' buttons simultaneously. “Food” will appear on the display. Hold the thermometer about 1 inch away from the food’s surface, press the 'EAR' button to take the measurement. A short beep confirms the reading.

How to View Memory

To view your saved measurements:

1. Press the 'MEM' button once, then again to view the most recent reading.

2. The device stores up to 9 previous recordings. Press 'MEM' again to cycle through older measurements.

3. The display will show an ear, forehead, or food symbol to indicate the measurement method used.
