Sometimes this can occur when the MobiCam thinks that something in the environment matches the QR code pattern. The MobiCam will continue to repeat this.
If you are having issues scanning the QR code, ensure the brightness is at maximum, the phone is connected to your 2.4GHz Wifi Network, and your bluetooth is turned ON. (What is a "2.4GHz connection"?)
Please make sure the phone screen and camera lens are both clean and the phone is pointed directly at the lens. (If you have a privacy screen on your phone, please remove this or use a different device to perform setup.)
Otherwise, follow these steps:
Once scanned the device will prompt 'QR code scanned, please confirm in-app' When you hear "Connected to Network/Wifi" you can press the 'I heard a prompt' button in-app. Wait until "Connected to Network/Wifi" to press the button.
The device will begin to pair. Please keep the camera, phone, and WiFi router as close as possible.
Once the percentage bar reaches 100% the camera will prompt 'connecting to WiFi'
Followed by 'setup complete'
In-app it will state 'device added successfully'
Once paired click on the IPC camera to view the live stream.
